Watch your speed around Wisner and Gilbert. Pretty much find a plot of delta farmland and get to partying

True. I’ve been in there when Big Dan was walking around the joint barefoot. Bout a size 13 on that baw. I doubt there’s anything worth looking at these days.

On Hwy 4 about 1.5 miles after you cross the Tensas River heading toward Newellton there is a small joint on the right. Used to be called Full House a few years back and pass it every week but can’t think of what the new name is. Tensas River Bar maybe? Used to be a little juke joint outside Crowville toward the east called Bayou Macon Bar. Not sure if it is still open.

"Big Dan's" was called "Two Mile Inn" when I was a teenager living in Franklin Parrish. You could buy beer at a Grocery store, further down the road at "Peck".

It’s still there in all its trashiness. Not sure what’s it’s called now either.

45 minutes to the Duck's Nest on Lake St. John. Seafood Restaurant & Bar. Maria's (Mexican) in St. Joseph is another 45 minute route. There is another joint next door that is another option. Natchez is just under 50 minutes from Wisner.

Filet Steakhouse and Oyster Bar is your best and only option. It is in Winnsboro. Bunch of people on this thread that don’t know anything about that area.
