people posting that this is going to be a non-event or it's going to miss BR and all that garbage are in for a shock. It's coming. By 9AM it will be precipating and it's already below freezing. So WTF? It didn't start at 5:30AM so the forecasts are a bust? lmao.

Is anyone in the Natchitoches area? Wunderground says light snow. I've got to drive down from shreveport today and was just curious if the roads are bad

I hope you're wrong .. We don't need this shite again ..

You can't tell what's going to happen by looking at the radar. There's a lot of moisture so the precip will blow up.

As far as I know, & from everything I've seen and heard, the precip for the BR area was never supposed to begin early morning. It's been forecasted for mid morning & later; so far, it's accurate. There was a model earlier showing a pocket of dry air around BR, keeping it from getting as much precip as was originally expected. Just waiting to see if this holds true or not, which is really all anyone can do at this point. As stated earlier, with all of the variables involved, it's really difficult to predict, very accurately, winter precip in the Deep South & coastal regions, particularly accumulation amounts. Best idea is to be prepared & wait & see.

I wouldn't mind some snow. Not gonna lie, I miss it, but an ice storm can gtfo.

It's starting to do something here. It's windy and something is hitting the window. I'm not getting up to check if it's liquid or frozen.

AGREED... I came into work but watching the roads closely.. Most likely leaving at about noon just to be safe from having to get stuck in BR.
