I'm expecting as much and am trying to make arrangements. The problem is I've either got to stay an extra night in Baltimore or ATL and I'm not fond of either. I'm trying to decide which is the lesser evil.

Still not sure what to expect here.

KPLC's model that they put up on TV basically had it all ending at 1pm Tuesday.

Winter Watches way out west of Houston. Makes me believe that we will get what they say or even more.

It's going to suck it's just ice. Did this in '95, and I remember it well

0% sure thing. The moisture is there.. it just depends on the timing.. most likely north of i-10 will get snow, south will get ice

here's a good video briefing from the NWS in Slidell this morning

Weather is very muggy here. Starting to cool off, hoping we dont get the kind of snow we got Friday.

Crown Weather:

quote:

I highly recommend that you prepare for this storm the same way you would for a hurricane landfall in terms of power outages and travel disruptions. In many areas, downed power lines and trees would lead to widespread power outages and impassable roads.

Seems most of it will be south of Ellick, and what does fall will be snow, which is much easier to deal with.

very wise advice. I can guarantee you the hotel rooms will be all booked up from those that can't make it back across bridges.

BTW,You left Praireville out.
