Baton Rouge looks like maybe .00001" rain, cold, no snow, no sleet.

This storm has been uneventful thus far around LSU.

This thing is a dud. Everytime I check wunderground the % chance of rain/sleet decreases.
I'm starting to think I can even make the LSU / kentucky game tonight.

The forecast for Baton Rouge from the NWS has only a "chance" of snow Tuesday night. No mention of sleet or freezing rain in the evening forecast.

Its been snowing hard in Pineville since daylight. Got about 3 inches. Its coming Baton Rouge. I wouldn't be caught anywhere I wouldn't want to spend the night. BR will shut down when this sets in. You might not get snow, but you're gonna get socked with freezing rain.

That energy isn't kicking out in time and is just bleeding bits of energy into the system. The 18z GFS on Sunday was a prime example of the energy kicking out in time and it produced an epic ice storm.
BTR and more so NO will get enough out of this to cause problems. It just won't be epic bad like some feared. Some small scale features have worked to keep totals down this morning but this afternoon should see .10 - .25" fall which will still cause issues.
