Wouldn’t it be pretty easy to see who formed LLC’s between the draw date and now and just comb through those if you wanted to know badly enough? That’s why I’m forming mine now lol

They can claim the ticket anonymously, so I don't know why they'd need to form an LLC.

Something is off about this. It should have been claimed. I just may take a trip to the nearest landfill to where that ticket was sold. There could be $1.5 billion buried in trash somewhere.

If deliberate, what balls and discipline to wait so long.

No it wouldn’t be. You’d be looking at a bunch of information without any bearing on why the LLCs were formed.

If he or she truly is unaware that they won, I sincerely hope for the sake of their future sanity that they never find out if they do fail to claim the jackpot. That would be hard to take.

Years ago, supposedly there was a guy in England who'd been playing the same numbers week after week for like ten or fifteen years, then forgot to buy a ticket one week and found out his numbers came up. Then he supposedly killed himself over the anguish of it. Not sure if the story is apocryphal or not, though. Hopefully it is.

My father just won $10k on the first scratch off he ever bought in SC. Fed and State took $3k of it.
