I was told the same thing and it lead me to ask what kind of sick, twisted pervert would be watching a 13 year old jerking off.....there has to be something about that which would get one tossed straight the hell out of heaven.....

In and of itself belief is a wise wager....facilely its a no harm no foul sort of situation. Beyond the shallowest surface however choosing to be willfully ignorant to the point of pretending to believe in something any sane individual knows full well is not remotely possible leads to all manner of ill shite like flying planes into buildings and praying to a god to strike down folks who are different than your self and when it does not happen envisioning yourself as the righteous hand of a god who does not exist and taking care of it yourself...it is a gateway psychosis that thankfully very few people ever take to its ultimate conclusion....the proclaim a belief but their every action belies that proclamation....this applies to about 99.9% of adults on the planet....the .1% are insane frickers......

I no longer hypothesize much about the afterlife.
I submit that there is one, that souls are eternal, and that hell is not hot, but chosen. Regarding heaven, it starts right here, right now.

Is your life heavenly or hellish?
I find that the correct beliefs about God and the motivation and desires that flow from the love of Christ lead to thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

Will there be a Catholics only section? I don't mind living close to Protestants, but Lutherans can be so snooty. And don't get me started on those Opus Dei types - there are such busybodies. Also, Messianic Jews tend to dominate all of the HOAs.

From what I have surmised the cacophony of singing and harp playing will be so loud and intrusive that most folks will ask to be relocated to warmer environs where the only noise is that made by souls being tormented for eternity.

Thats a bit of a paraphrase of Mark Twain.....
Hope you will find your way to the believer's side. You have a lot to offer. You're pretty good at writing. Thinking about your post the other day when we were talking about the minks. That was funny stuff.

Atheists are as delusional as believers and far more arrogant in their "beliefs". The majority of atheists are militantly atheistic in the same way sidewalk preachers are militant about promoting their beliefs. At the end of the day we are all, by definition, agnostic - nothing is known about the existence of a god. Some lean toward belief, some toward disbelief, but no one knows for certain...and if one claims to know for certain there is a god they are admitting they lack faith which is all that is required of them. If they tell you they know for certain there is not a god they are lying. None of us knows.

Any credible medical professional recognizes delusion as a condition indicative of either a mental or physical impairment.

You know the older I get the more I admire people who do have faith....it is inspiring to say the least. I do not know that I ever get there but It is certainly an admirable quality that all of us should aspire to....

And faith is all that's required. Thats really a pretty good bargain if you think about it.

I have gleaned from your posts that you place a high value on money, and that your marriage is built not on faith in God, but more a cohabiting arrangement.

These aren't criticisms, just observations.

Certainly you have friends that would be more than willing to mentor you, and show you the wsy.
You're a bright guy, consider it.

Many licensed therapists, MDs, and tenured scientists believe that Jesus is God. You think history started at The Enlightenment?
Hell, Christianity, specifically Protestantism, created the Scientific Revolution, the Enlightenment, and secular society. You’re welcome!

And still, there either is or there isn’t a God. Come quest with us.
