The closest thing to hell on planet earth is a DMV in California. I always hated going when I lived in Louisiana but it's a whole different beast out here. These places are huge and have at least 100 people waiting, they should make a scary movie about these places.

In Lake Chuck there are like 3 title companies that can do most everything the DMV can do, registration renewals, DL renewals, etc except getting your license back after it's been suspended. Did you get yours suspended?

If in N.O. area, ABC Title on Veterans can do most all things you'll need in less than 10 minutes. Everything but a first time license I think. Guessing you have to have a trained person certified by the state to approve the driving portion. Expired license or change of address type stuff, it's the only way to go. Frick going to a DMV for that anymore.

There is nothing express about this.
I tried on two separate occasions at lunch to go renew my driver's license and have the address changed. The "express" dmv gave me a minimum 2 hour wait both times.
I just kept my old address on it.

they have them all over. I payed like ~$35 last time I lost my wallet and had a new license in my hand in less than 10 minutes.

in NOLA you can go to ABC title. They guarantee a max 30 minute in and out time. It costs a little more but it's worth it.
