In low-speed front-end collisions, your seatbelt is
usually enough to provide protection for your head
and chest. However, in higher speed front-end crashes,
front airbags deploy to protect your head and chest as
they move forward. Front airbags usually don’t deploy
in rear-end collisions,
side impacts or rollovers. Side
airbags deploy during side impacts and rollovers, and
provide buffers between the occupants and the doors.

I got rear ended ten years ago and I was told that they didn't deploy in a rear end collision. Mine never deployed and Wasn't sure if that had changed.

FTR the woman who hit me was doing an estimated 55MPH at the first impact and 30MPH on the second impact. I was stopped an she never hit the brakes.

Interesting and noted.

Didnt Smiths vehicle hit the impala? That must have been very slight for the airbags to not deploy then correct?

I think being shite faced is relevant. Alcohol has been proven to make some people aggressive

There are toxicology reports to support the defense's claim. Sake Cafe really doesn't matter at all if you already know what Smith's BAC was when he died.

They have a toxicology report for that. There's no need to get footage from a restaurant as the crime didn't happen there, and again, it is extremely irrelevant.

Its not the police's job to even get that.

It absolutely hurts. The two on this case are masterful about reminding juries of that in closing.

so aggressive that he slams into the back of another vehicle, exits vehicle and shoots a man 8 times in the back?

It matters if he was being aggressive in the restaurant. He leaves the scene of an accident minutes after leaving Sake Cafe.

Napoli was the prosecutor in the murder trial that I was a juror on a couple of years ago. He is an excellent communicator.

Will Smith being aggressive is one thing, but it has to rise to an extreme level, mainly Hayes being in imminent danger of losing his life or receiving great bodily harm.

Not the police's job. That's the defenses job.

The police have a guy shot in the back 8 times and another guy admitting he did.

Some of you are really stuck on this. He could have hit him going 7 mph and still blew out the back window.
