It's been three and a half days and i think the only person to testify about what happened between smith and Hayes was Raquel... that just seems odd to me

I ain't mad at ya janky... this is my first time following a trial too.. I'm guessing they called him because they are all friends... if I was ever in a situation like this, and I was just with a friend of mine who was on the force and they just left, I'm calling their arse too 
Plus, it's not like Pierre had anything to hide or knew if will did something that needed to be covered up

What have they done to prove to me beyond a reasonable doubt that hayes did not fear for his life?

Well, in order to make an accusation like he removed a gun or was going to retrieve the wife's phone he would have to be pretty close.
