Neither my Gock .40 or my Glock 9mm have safety's. Any idea what kind of gun Smith had?

You said that on one hand that no one (who is well trained) takes off the safety until ready to fire, then said that condition zero is cocked and locked, which it is not, and are now trying to say that lots of people carry in condition zero, which means safety off. Contradict yourself much?

All of my guns are stored with the safety on, if there is one. Not unusual at all.

I don't recall they've ever said. You can get some 1911's w 10 rd mags, though most with the greater than 7 or 8 capacity are double action. The Springfield XDS is single action, but not sure if it has an external safety other than the grip safety. The glocks and other DA only do not usually have external safety.
I find with rare exception, reporters don't know shite about guns, thus get a lot wrong.
