That video was on Instagram back in August. It was on a shady looking foreign account, so it was probably from even earlier.

We're testing black ops shite we don't want anyone to interfere with and we're not telling the public what it is or why its there, so why have it all lit up for everyone to see?
I think it is an exercise though that is just based on my gut. If it is a military exercise they would likely run with their anti-collision lights on just because of the danger they would pose to civil aviation. They would have already been tested in restricted airspace this is a more practical test which also tests lots of the civilian reaction.

Maybe they got intel on a dirty bomb and are trying to search for it. I mean it’s a high density area near NYC, so why all this fancy new drone tech all of a sudden flying low over residential areas? Might have devices that detect radiation? If that were the case, I’d keep quiet about it too if I were the gov’t to prevent panic.
