Those are wild pictures. They look just like that video posted earlier. Something that looks like a force field or something around them.

I’m not disagreeing or agreeing with anything you are saying. You make perfect sense, but the one part that kinda fricks all that up is this:
Obviously there is more and more interest. The DoD, without divulging anything, can put this to rest pretty easily, but have chosen not to. Whats the end game to that?
There is either value to the hysteria or this isn’t what the appears to be.
Is it mimicry? frick if I know. Back in the 30s there were reports of weird shapes turning into dirigibles. Is this that? Sounds pretty fantastical to me, but given all we’ve experienced in the last 10yrs, does anything surprise you?
While this would be the wildest shite ever, it wouldn’t surprise me. I’m done being surprised.

And I’m not even saying it’s otherworldly, but I’m not ruling it out.

You're correct of course.
But I do think its important to provide the facts and evidence so that people who are at least open minded can determine for themselves what the situation is or isn't.
What's going on is unprecedented as far as I can tell going back to the weird mass sighting after WW2 over Washington DC and LA.
Multiple locations, dozens of high res photos, videos to go along with named sources within the Coast Guard, military, federal and local government as well as LEO.
Could just be a beyond top secret agency showing off a drone force to threaten China as they posture towards Taiwan, but the visuals involved suggest an energy or visible magnetic field around them completely beyond anything in the public realm.
We're experiencing history right now whether its just an unveiling of tech, an open threat from a foreign government over US skies or something altogether more profound.

Are there examples of the gov/DoD “testing” or otherwise demonstrating previously unseen tech/equipment in dense, public areas with little/no notice and/or coordination with local government?
I’m sure there are plenty, but I’m not well researched on this topic
Like the most conservative explanation is that this our stuff, but is their a history of our guys field testing stuff in urban areas with no PR component to the testing?

Lol.... My point to him was that most folks arent going to be convinced that anything out side of a prosaic explanation is occurring until they see it for themselves. And if the majority of the population ever does witness something like that it will lead to mass hysteria.

Add to that....for weeks at time, at altitudes less than 500 feet, slowing spreading over multiple counties and states, allowing public panic to build to the point that all levels of government are becoming involved.... I'm not ruling out anything but its like every explanation comes with a heaping serving of implausibility....thats why I'm so fascinated by it.

If I was a suspicious man, I would suspect someone is testing the possibility (and response to such actions) of a potentially simultaneously launched, devastating strike against Western military and infrastructure targets.
It is sort of the opposite, in concept, of a decapitation strike. Instead of going directly at enemy top leadership, this seeks to paralyze response by striking too many targets at once to even allow for an effective response (at least in any sort of timely manner).
This would be a precursor to a wider military operation, of course.
Again, only IF I was a suspicious person with a background in threat analysis, tactical intelligence, etc.

They are all over the world, not just the US or western world. They are being spotted everywhere.
EDIT: And we may share the same background. My initial thought was exactly that. And if I were gonna do something like that, I’d make sure my country had these things buzzing around too…

Im not at all convinced by any explanation. The reason why I even consider something outside the normal range of possibilities (if you want to call it aliens..fine whatever.) is there has been observed UAP activity going on in that area off the coast for quite a while now. Also the footage we are seeing is so inconsistent. Some look like planes others, look like planes but unlike any I've seen and are flying really low with little sound. Some look like large drones other just bright orbs.
There is so much wild shite being reported like dozens of these things flying in off the coast and drones that are sent up having their electronics affected that at this point just kinda watching it unfold with an open mind.
