Laughing because in the mid 60s, jazz fest was actually about jazz music. Then they started turning it into a pop-culture music festival. I hope some of the old guys who protested it back in the 60s are still around to see this clusterfrick.

A somewhat dumb related story. I was once in a bar with a guy who kept talking about the band "panic." I thought he was talking about Panic at the Disco so I interjected into the conversation that I really liked "lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off." One guy got so angry, it looked like he was gonna punch me. They called me a retard and walked away.

I’ve been hitting Panic shows again now that my kids are older. They are on fire right now. Best they have sounded since the late 90’s when Miley was alive.
