It's pretty invigorating. I piss outside at least once per day. Most of the time not in public though.
Every morning me and my dog walk outside and pee together. Its probably the reason she follows me into the bathroom every other time I pee.

Well, only if you crap in the shower. Urine is essentially sterile, in terms of nutrients, and the ammonia content will likely kill any plants that are exposed to too much of it.

Most normal people can per while also doing something else, like shampooing hair.
Shower water goes to the same place as toilet water. It's considered waste water.

Technically if you stop and think how much water is running while you stand there in the shower peeing is really not that much different than the quantity of water being used by the toilet. Unless you are multitasking in the shower, washing hair while peeing then you would be making a difference. Most I'm sure stand there enjoying the full sensation of relieving themselves which defeats your argument.

I physically cannot bring myself to piss in a toilet. It's very hard to piss when the head is under the water.
