no, not really. I'm arguing with an idiot and just being a dick.

but statistics do show that the poor and uneducated tend to have more kids and at a younger age. It doesn't mean that's you (or Demon, again, I'm just being an a-hole right back at him)

Because I'm gonna be an emptynester at 45 while you're still hauling kids all over town.

Lol, really? You don't know me and you "know" I'm stupid? Not poor, strike one. Not uneducated, strike two. What else you got? GTFO with you "I know" BS.

Talking to yourself again? Yeah, I would say you are definitely arguing with an idiot then.

WTF dude? You’re being an arse for no reason by making a lot of assumptions.

My wife and I both have degrees and we had our kids in our early 20s after we were married. I’m not going to sit here and say I’m rich bitch, but I’m doing pretty well by most standards.

Listen, I don't actually think having kids young means you're stupid. I also don't think you're stupid. I simply take issue with you digging your heels in the sand and seemingly demanding that having kids younger is THE best option, when clearly it always isn't for many people. And just "getting it done" is not the mentality I have. My dad raised me just fine, but having my brother so young hindered his ability to do a lot of other things. So I don't want to just "make it happen" as you said. I want to be as stable as I can be before having kids. I wasn't at that point in my 20s. I am now.

We get it; you had kids young, and you're happy about that. I personally chose not to do that for various reasons, and am still happy with mine. You will enjoy your 50s without raising kids and I enjoyed my 20s and a couple of years into my 30s.

It's all good, we are all different.

I don’t understand why people are so judgmental of couples who don’t have kids. I see these 19 year old kids walking around the store with toddlers and they look absolutely miserable. I’m also pretty sure the younger you have kids the more likely you are going be impoverished. I’d say 30-35 is the best age.

not strike 3. Alexandria is a horrid place. I would know. My grandmother lives in Vernon parish and my mom lived in Alexandria for 30 years.

you'll live

listen, if you were financially and emotionally mature enough at 21 or whatever to have kids, then you're not stupid. For those that weren't/aren't, yes, it's stupid.

Take that however you wish.

I’m almost 40. Nobody should get married till at least 25 preferably longer. No kids before 30. That would cut down on the divorce rate and single parent problems we see today.

Like you said earlier, we all have different circumstances, right? I honestly don't care when people have kids, that's their business. What I do know is that it worked for me. Of course it wasn't always easy but who says life is? I can say without a doubt that I am glad that I had mine younger. Does that make you wrong for having them later, absolutely not. I wish you well

Maybe people can eat decently, and workout, and actually have energy?
People being broken down physically by age 40 is sad and almost always unnecessary.

Lol, your opinion doesn't matter except for Vernon Parish, you are right about that. Armpit of Louisiana. Of course Alexandria isn't great but there are much worse out there.
