I thought smell/odor of marijuana was no longer something police could act on in Louisiana. Sounds like an illegal search and the perp will walk.
I tjink thst is only certain cities.

Because petty proactive policing isn't the good thing many think it is. Its a major slippery slope.
We have too many laws and regulations, we are all criminals.
When liberal DAs and cops don't enforce the laws on the books... this board has a fit.
The police need to enforce the laws on the books. The end.
Don't like the laws... elect better legislators.

However, the window tint guy is not a danger to anyone.
I don't see how it doesn't impact his driving. That certainly can be a danger to anyone.
The "easy revenue" laws are things like seat belt laws for adults.

Why would you not be able to be pulled over if your car smelled like marijuana? Driving under the influence still isn’t legal.

Lol - that’s what they’re reporting

I hate drug dealers. I hope they all die a painful death.

Is it illegal for a car to smell like something?

So a little over 2 ounces of weed is worth $1,180? Damn inflation!
Yeah, that is about $125/Qoz.
Either some really good shite, or inflation has hit the weed market also.
Back in my HS days anything over $20/Qoz and it better be some zombie/couchlock stuff.

Does this include enforcing those same laws against their fellow officers?
Because if so, you won’t be left with much of a police force.

You read the book. Congratulations, you can read. But until you risk your life for people that hate you, you know less than nothing.
