I have a buddy who's an addiction counselor and he gets a few mental health days a year. I guess it's to recharge after helping people deal with their fricked up lives all day everyday.
Makes sense for high stress jobs and those dealing with people's emotional states.

You should be concerned with your employees' health. That's the most important thing. You're a crappy boss.

Millennial checking in here. I work 55-60 hours a week and got my first three day weekend of the year the weekend after the Fourth of July. This year I've worked on the Fourth of July, Labor Day, MLK day, and Easter. I don't get PTO. I do get three sick days and on my three year anniversary at my current company last year I went from one week of vacation to two weeks vacation which was very nice. I work 10-14 hour shifts overnight. I'm not complaining they treat me ok. I just felt like my experience as a millennial employee was pertinent to your thread topic.

Requiring a doctor's note for every time you take a sick day (I'm not talking 3-4 days in a row, just the occasional sick day) is such a shite arse policy.

So you feel stressed out? Losing sleep, too much pressure? It's fricking called being an adult, and sometimes work just sucks.
How dare someone want to.live his or her life like they see fit instead if sacrificing everything for work.
