The smartest thing posted in this thread IMO.

Totally agree… if you’re getting honked at more than maybe once per month, you probably need to reconsider your driving tactics.

Nah, read it correctly. Why should I be the one that has to use my brakes just to let you in

If you truly got this from what I typed, you are a special kind of stupid. None of this was ever stated as a condition by me.

Well if you think he’s lying then there’s no point debating

Debating what? How does he know how fast an approaching car is coming? He said himself hes getting over no matter what

Yet you ignored that part

I’m getting over blinker = notice. If you are getting over = you can’t have my lane just because you put your blinker on.

Good point. Both are true.

You LITERALLY said in your post you have to make them brake. It’s not your call to control the narrative if someone in THEIR lane wants to speed up. Sounds like you the stupid one…..who apparently can’t drive

I'm talking about there being a significant gap that can easily fit two cars and the driver punching the accelerator to not allow you to change lanes.

This doesn't make sense. If it's a big enough gap where two cars could safely change lanes, then the problem is that you are simply not changing lanes. You check the gap and blind spot, hit your blinker and immediately move over.
Wtf are you doing? You putting on your blinker and then expecting the other car to signal to you somehow that they received your message and concur that you can move over? If the gap is as big as you say, then there is no way they could speed up in time to close that gap and prevent you from changing lanes. Turning your wheel slightly is much faster than another car accelerating to close a huge gap. Seriously, wtf are you doing?
