I thought this for years until I saw Whitney's documentary on Showtime. While Bobby wasn't a choir boy wasn't the demon he may seem. Whitney and her siblings began experimenting with Drugs in her early teens. Newark is a rough place to grow up.

Where I come from that Bobby Brown is that lowest grade weed, aka schwag. Luckily I haven't seen any of that Bobby Brown in 10-15 years.

He ruined Whitney Houston who was a lot more popular. He was basically a poor man’s Justin Timberlake... but add in a bad attitude and hardcore drugs abuse and he becomes the 80s version of Sisqo.

Who did he beat. Obviously it's well known that he was a druggie, but I don't know much about him being a woman beater, haven't really heard that one.
Also, the piece about Whitney is a straight bs. She had great pr, but she was a druggie from the beginning. She was heavy into crack before Bobby. He didn't introduce Whitney to anything. When they met, they were so terrible for each other that they led each other straight into the depths of addiction for about 2 decades, practically ruining each other's careers. Bobby may have been called the bad boy, and Whitney may have been called America's sweetheart, but she was just as bad as Bobby, if not probably even worse when it came to the drugs.
