re: Why is weed still illegal?

We've been over this before. Weed on your own time is fine. The problem is the length of detection time. The urine test results can't say when you used the drug. They just identify the presence of certain toxins. You can still be "intoxicated" but not impaired. Smoke on Friday night, abstain the rest of the weekend, and you'll pass Monday's test. Use more often than that, you're risking it. Employers don't care when you last used, they need negative drug test results. PCP sticks around for a long time and no one is screaming about how unfair that is.

no so no matter what you fricks throw out there your argument is bunk.
Don't be angry at me because I am able to be responsible enough to pass a drug test. All the people who aren't able to are directly driving up my wages.
I work in 2 industries. One doesn't test and the pay reflects it. One demands it and that pay scale also reflects it.

Weed is very addicting
Not physically addictive, just mental. Meaning people form a habit and think they need it, but if obliged to quit they could do so with little or no health issues. They might not want to quit and they might be agitated about it but they won’t get sick beyond maybe a headache. Less addictive than caffeine.

Because there's a huge number of proud to be stupid people.

You can’t seriously believe weed is more addictive than caffeine. Not in any real world sense. Go without your morning coffee and you have a migraine by lunch.

it's better to use it as a political pawn piece like roe vs wade had been for the last 50 years. The right is warming up to it more and more so I can't imagine it'll be federally illegal much longer.

Because there's too funding coming in to be lost.
God forbid they actually jail real criminals that harm people

We do random piss and breathalizer tests. You get both at once.
I once asked the tech. How can someone fail a breathalizer when they tell you a day before you go? This was pre employment. She said you would be surprised.

From a few years back but.............

'Our No. 1 Cash Crop'
Kentucky is second only to California in marijuana production. More than a half-million pot plants worth an estimated $1 billion are seized here annually.
But authorities estimate that an equal amount is successfully grown, harvested and sold.
The federal government designates the area the Appalachia High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area. Ed Shemelya is the marijuana coordinator.
"[Marijuana] is our No. 1 cash crop in the Appalachia HIDTA region," Shemelya said. "Tobacco, to corn, to soy beans, you name it. Marijuana is the cash crop. ... Not even close. No comparison."

It should remain illegal purely for the trashiness level

It's because of the Kush mountains in Afghanistan where some of the best strains today can trace their origins. That and the Hazes from Vietnam also fed into this evil demon weeds that makes people crazy. It is a diabolical plot for the Vietnamese and afghanis to coalesce together and takeover the United States. It's true I read it in a book.

He won’t and I was actually surprised Trump didn’t. It’s pretty surprising how many presidents refuse to legalize weed especially how popular it is now.
Your left wing media will never admit it but Trump said he would most likely be willing to sign off on a bill legalizing medical marijuana if congress sent him one. The democrat controlled house never did
