I used to work for a company that sells many products in Costco.. memberships are how Costco makes ALL of their profit.. it’s the reason you can buy things so cheap there.. unless it’s changed in the last 5 yrs or so, when i was involved in negotiations with them- there is literally zero margin on most of the items Costco sells .
