Check all of your plugs or your power strip. I've heard one of my phone chargers make a little noise when it was plugged in but not in use. It was a fast charger so it may have had some form of an amplifier in it. Then again, I know nothing about electronics, but still check that.
I'm going to go downstairs and unplug everything.
There is a small amp plugged in, as well as the stereo.

ETA: I'm not sure who you call, but I'm getting someone to check out the sofa.
I actually check people's sofas as a side job.
What's your address?

I bet you a dollar that solves your problem.

Don't fall asleep. The sofa will consume you. Slowly at first, as to not wake you, but it will slowly increase its pace of consumption until when you wake up, you will discover to your horror that you cannot escape. You will become part of the sofa until there is no further trace of you. Your family will search and search for you in vain for years. Eventually, your furniture will be sold or given away, by which time you will have been completely digested by the sofa, and it will be ready to consume its next victim.
Don't let this happen. You need to burn the sofa. Kill it with fire.

You lose. But, I'm going to unplug everything in the adjacent rooms including the kitchen.

Yes

That happened once at my old hunting camp. Turns out there was a rattlesnake in the couch.

Through the floor?
It is remotely possible. But, there is a lot of weight on the floor - the piano is a medium sized grand. I assume the weight would keep noise from traveling through the floor.

Is the vent through the floor?
Could just be a vibration when the chemtrail is flowing through your vents.

Why don't you turn off the breaker to the rooms in question...

If I shut everything off, can I turn the power off to the entire house without hurting anything?

This. Odds are 92%.

Odds are 0%. Anything along those lines I might have would plug into the wall.
