You must be one of the lesbians I have to deal with at these clinics.

Not quite sure what this means.

They are pretty straight to the point

I can definitely appreciate this attribute. Not every doctor is for everyone. Most of the time men prefer this, while women tend to prefer the opposite.

usually cheaper as well.

Why do you think that is?

Then definitely don’t go to the vet I use.

As Pat Parelli says “only be as gentle with a horse as a 3 years old child and only as rough as another horse” as long as your in between those two anything goes.

Lots of foreigners go to American veterinary schools.

Well yeah. There are more vet schools in the US alone than the rest of the world combined. And if you want to work in the US you need to attend an AVMA accredited university. Not all of the non-US vet schools have that accreditation.

They have to justify their pro-choice stance by also being anti-animal euthanasia

Because they're the same... an unborn human being and a dog

Because years ago there was a huge push to recruit more females and minorities over traditional (male) students for large animal care. It’s turning into a huge disaster as many female large animal practitioners aren’t willing to make the sacrifices necessary to have any longevity in that discipline.

Well this isn’t accurate (mostly). I’ll refer to my previous post about people thinking they know more than they do.

Some go to school, but it's well known that not all do. One of my best friends was a vet tech when we were in high school and through college. He never spent a single day in any class that pertained to anything Vet related, and the same was true for the vast majority of the techs he worked with.

To quote you. Your ignorance is showing. A vet tech is a licensed individual who has completed a two year education program and passed a national board. What you are referring to are assistants. That’s a non licensed position and shouldn’t be held to any medical standards. They aren’t trained individuals. Some do get a fair amount of in the job training, but they aren’t trained individuals not legally veterinary technicians.

I’m sure as a licensed technician yourself, you can understand that difference.

I’d bet that had more to do with the types of students they accepted than anything else. They’ve made a point of not accepting students that don’t fit their “non traditional” bias. Its absurd.

lol. Ok. You keep believing that.

Inaccurate: very few.

More Americans go out of country for vet school.

Apparently his only requirement for someone caring for his pet is to be physically attractive.

Or attracted to him?
