Love me some grilled chicken garden salad. Just one time i'd like to walk in and out of a BK without witnessing some drama from their employees.
Why can't BK be like McDonalds or Canes or Chick-fil-a?

Is it management that encourages this behavior at every Burger King created?

I grew up in a BK family. I'm in a mixed marriage (Mrs. Midnight is all McDonald's), so I, more or less had to convert. Since I've been in the Army, about the only detached BKs in the world, that are not also within line of sight of a McDonald's are on military posts.

And those are the only ones I've been in that I would consider "clean" in 30 years.

So, it isn't so much the ratchetness, but the dirty conditions that turn me off from most detached BKs. I will still, occasionally, go to one on a military base or a food court situation.

I prefer Wendy's over both.

Is the BK on Highland still in business? That place was always empty when I was at LSU.

arguing with baby daddy on the phone behind the counter and making customer wait till argument is over. This example is what happened today but there's always something going on up in a BK.

I haven't been to a BK in years. Only time I went was for their French toast sticks though.

Wen their with MBP after a good bit of day drinking recently. The next day I felt like complete shite. I blame the BK, not the alcohol.

$1.49 for 10 pieces of "chicken"

Ive been saying for years that BK would be the first major fast food chain to go under, but damned if I didn't read a brand new one is being built in my community.

At the end of the day, they're all still fast food joints, but McDonald's has clearly established itself in the upper echelon of that segment. If not the upper echelon, they're at the very least a few rungs higher than wherever BK ranks.

To think that there was a time when they were a legitimate competitor to McDonald's almost seems blasphemous at this point.

It is odd how Burger King went from best service to 2nd to last. Popeye's owns the crown for worst service nationwide.

You youngsters probably never saw Burger King at their peak with their "Have It Your Way" motto.

McDonald's used to press the DEFCON 1 button if you asked for no onions. "Grill! Grill! Grill!" Lights and sirens going off, then you still waited 20 minutes.

Now BK employees look confused and disinterested almost 100% of the time.
