Blockin' the beltway

Way past the days of Bombin' M.C.'s
Sound off Mumia guan be free
Who gottem yo check the federal file
All you pen devils know the trial was vile
An army of pigs try to silence my style
Off 'em all out that box

Remember when 104.9 played alt rock and was a good station. And dan day and the fish were the dj's. Wonder what ever happened to the fish. Now they have 104.9 and 104.5 both playing sports and neither has good reception half the time. Pick one and get a better signal Flynn.

RIP Layne Staley. BR needs a good fricking heavy metal station. Only thing close I get to one is some static metal from Biloxi if I'm in Nola. A heavy dose of Pantera would be great.

Let's see if we can name the 40 songs that are in the shuffle...
I'll start with a couple:

1) Hotel California (Eagles)
2) More Than a Feeling (Boston)

3) Do You Feel Like We Do (Frampton)
4) Sharp Dressed Man (ZZ Top)
5) Tightrope (SRV)

Let's not forget:

Twilight Zone (when the bullet hits the bone)

Spotify bruh.. Why people pay for satellite radio when you could pay for spotify premium and get way more bang for your buck I'll never know.

Yep. I was with someone the other day who was downloading/buying songs from iTunes to listen to in the car. I blew their mind when I told them for $10/month,they could download unlimited songs for offline listening on Spotify.

6) I'll add Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin). I had a friend who DJ'ed at a classic rock station a while back. He said that if I ever tuned in and Stairway to Heaven was playing, then he was most likely in the crapper.

Last Saturday afternoon around noon, one of the 98.1 guys played "The End" by the Doors and "Stairway to Heaven" back to back. I thought for sure that the dude must have had major runs.

Houston is by far the worst major market

A bunch of rap/pop stations
A bunch of Mexican stations
A bunch of country stations
One classic Rock station
One alternative rock station
One ESPNRadio station with a weak signal

BR has Richard Condon. Therefore better than just about any other radio market.
