Im not sure what owning less has to do with life expectancy

they don't worry as much about keeping up with the Joneses, and are more satisfied with what they have (which leads to inner happiness and a longer life)

People are fatter than ever before. I used to work in an ICU. Of course you have poor folks that end up in there from getting the short end of the stick. Whether it be inherited disorders, cancer, freak accident, etc.

But probably 75% of the people under 65-70 are in there from either Alcohol, drugs, or entirely preventable health conditions.

On another note, there are also a decent amount of doctors out there that treat lab values instead of patients. Which leads to patients taking unnecessary meds and can create more problems instead of fixing the actual problem.

Eat right most of the time, exercise, get blood work done every 6 months. You will live a long and happy life. It wouldn’t hurt to keep a blood pressure cuff and a blood glucose machine at home either, but thats going above and beyond.

Read the article provided by the person starting this thread.

It sez for people born in 2021,,,,,,, the life expectancy has dropped by 2 years.

So most all the things we know today will have changed by year 2100 when this is reality

What might influence the life expectancy reduction? Could it be the wef, Davos, Soros groups that want to depopulate the earth by one third. Could it be a move from assisted elderly suicide to mandated end of life standards.

Drug overdose deaths have risen fivefold over the past 2 decades. In 2021, 106,699 deaths occurred, resulting in an age-adjusted rate of 32.4 per 100,000 standard population. From 2020 through 2021, the rate for males increased from 39.5 to 45.1, and the rate for females increased from 17.1 to 19.6. In both 2020 and 2021, adults aged 35–44 had the highest rate among people aged 15 and over. Between 2020 and 2021, the largest percentage increase in rates occurred among those aged 65 and over (28%). In both 2020 and 2021, rates were highest for non-Hispanic AIAN people; however, the greatest percentage increase in rates from 2020 to 2021 occurred for non-Hispanic NHOPI people.

The rates of drug overdose deaths involving different types of opioids and stimulants also increased from 2020 to 2021. Increases in rates occurred for drug overdose deaths involving psychostimulants with abuse potential (from 7.5 to 10.0), synthetic opioids other than methadone (17.8 to 21.8), and cocaine (6.0 to 7.3). Rates were similar for drug overdose deaths involving natural and semisynthetic opioids, as well as deaths involving methadone. Of the drugs examined, only drug overdose deaths involving heroin had a lower rate in 2021 than in 2020 (2.8 and 4.1, respectively).

Food supply, pharma conspiracy, lazy peeps don’t even know the battle they must fight if they want health. I have zero faith in half the population wising up and taking action.

Yeah, this place has absolutely no idea what socialism is.

The US was far more socialized in the 1950s and 60s than it is now.

We have privatized a ton of things since.

But the mouthbreathers need something to beat their chests over.

The US was far more socialized in the 50-60's. Gotta call bs.

Medicare started in early 70

Free range kids, came in when the street lights came on.

Great society implemented in early 70

?
Bank data was personnel/confidential

Government balanced budgets

Cash was well utilized

government handouts required work evaluations

Not one of these has anything to do with socialism. Also, social programs do not equal socialism.

My statement holds true, the more socialized a country becomes, life expectancy and quality goes down.

Forcing people onto them does (Medicare, SS) because what is socialism but a series of government programs designed to take the wealth of some and give it to others as the government sees fit? Also, those programs being set up in such a way that people on them are penalized for trying to get off of them (ie: makes them dependent on them) adds to that as well.
