bullshite. Once the umbilical is cut the child is no longer feeding off the mother. Yes, I do realize in many cases mothers will still use their body to provide nourishment; however a newborn no longer needs the host mother to survive. Completely different circumstance at that point.

So a newborn left to fend for itself can survive?

Look, you obviously have done or you are about to do something stupid, and people disagree with it. We've all been there. Move on

Precisely, but that comes with some basic understanding and respect for others. I think it is pretty clear that abortion is am entirely different animal that sexual orientation and drug use.

It's a cry for help.

It's some people's way of begging karma to serve them up a real life arse whooping.

Sorry but you are wrong. I'm simply wondering why so many people are compelled to pry into other people's lives when the actions of those others has zero impact on their own life. If people just focused on improving themselves and stayed out of other people's lives then we would all be better off. That's all I'm saying.

What a person chooses to ingest or expose their body to (all forms of drugs included) - None of your business.

Because a person that consumes heroin, cocaine, meth or a 24 pack of beer DOES impact others. You don't think crackheads have kids living in the house with them? Or that they've given them up to orphanages/foster care? I guess in your perfect world, all drug users are single, responsible adults that quietly go into a room in their home, smoke meth and stay there for the next 12 hours. Yeah, that's the vast majority of drug users.

Another person's religion/faith, or lack thereof - None of your business.

Almost all major faiths are compelled to share their story and "witness" to those who they feel are "lost". Adherents to these faiths want to save your soul and it's a huge part of their call to action. It doesn't matter if you agree with it or not. They are just going to "mind their business" and not speak to you about their belief system, as this is tantamount to spiritual failure to them.

A person's sexuality preference - None of your business.

Agreed. People should just shut the frick up about what they do in the bedroom. frick gay pride parades and rainbows and manish wymyn demanding special rights.

quote:

A woman's choice on whether or not to have an abortion - None of your business.

Yeah, mind your own business. A woman has a right to kill a living, breathing fetus and there's no impact whatsoever to anyone else. Got it.

quote:

A person's constitutional right to bear a firearm in America and that person's reasoning behind it - None of your business.

Agreed but again, you are being way too simplistic. You said "a person's constitutional right to bear a firearm in America". So should felons be able to have a firearm? Mentally unstable people? Should 14 year olds be able to carry fully automatic weapons? Guess what- the devil is always in the details and you have to work some of these nuances out.

You're getting support because you're mostly correct. You're just way off base with your logic on abortion.

too many reasons to list why this is my business. Just bc you are a dumbarse pothead doesn't mean it only affects you.

A woman's choice on whether or not to have an abortion -
Abortion is brutal, evil murder. That makes it my business. You may be too evil and blind to understand, but that doesn't free me from responsibility.

quote:

Why do people feel compelled to interject or intervene into other peoples lives when it has absolutely no impact on their own life whatsoever?
It is everyone's responsibility to help people, including those people who are set on destroying themselves. Furthermore, you are a hypocrite. If you believe all of that retarded OP, then why are you getting into my business?

Again, you're right. Feeling this way and believing abortion is abhorrent and should be illegal are not mutually exclusive.

Focus on you. You are not a perfect person. You have many areas of your life that could use improvement. Nobody gives a frick what you think they should be doing. Just mind your own fricking business. It's generally hypocritical assholes like yourself that think they need to butt in to everyone else's life to tell them what they need to be doing or not doing, when in reality your own life is probably a huge fricking neglected mess. Regardless, stay the frick out of my business.

For the most part I agree, however I can't support legal murder of a human baby.

Not sorry.
