Why does WWE raw seemingly come to Lafayette so often?

Seems like it comes to the Cajun dome once or twice a year. That’s quite often for a major broadcasted event. Is there a big market for WWE in Louisiana?

Louisiana people are usually trashy, so I would say yes.

Sounds like something you’d find in urban dictionary

WWE is constantly on tour. They play everywhere at least once a year. Lafayette usually draws a good crowd so they get tv tapings.

They have lower labor costs there than other markets. Combine this with a facility that is able to handle their needs. This allows them to have an easier work day and pocket more money.

What does that say about Lafayette? The next Austin? I think not.
