Why does no one ever win the Lotto in the South?

Seems the big PB and MM are always California or New York. Liberal states most of the time. Never hear of many winners in Ms, La, Ar, Tx, Al, etc.

Note: I didn't a buy ticket.

South Carolina had one last year or the year before.

Because of the tax received from the winnings, the state sent everyone a $50 tax rebate.

But do you really keep a running log of who wins all of these lotteries?

Of the ten largest MegaMillions jackpots, 2 winners were from California

The top 5 winners were from FL, SC, ME, IL, and NJ

One of my co-workers won 20 million. He did the same job as me. He finished his hitch offshore then quit.
