You're either trolling or you're too stupid to recognize that Tesla does not trigger "oilfield baws" the way you think it does. In fact, it doesn't trigger the oilfield any more than it triggers your average taxpaying American who actually cares about how their money is spent.

We live in a free market economy and that market dictates needs. I know how important O&G is to the world's economies whether we're all riding bicycles or flying around in DeLoreans. If you can't recognize it's importance and how it's not fading away any time soon, you need to do a little more research when you're not busy studying up your next talking points.

I couldn't care less if Tesla succeeds or fails but if it's going to succeed of fail, it should be done on it's own terms. It should not have been awarded a blank check from the US government before it had even made ONE car!

Like I was trying to point out to you. No other car manufacturer has EVER gotten subsidies from the government before ever making its first vehicle.

Just because this isn't the first time, it doesn't make it any more acceptable.

But let me point out that those government programs were given to two PROVEN car manufacturers, not some visionary that doesn't know the slightest thing about manufacturing a car, yet owns a car manufacturing company.
