Why do young hot chicks no longer become stewardesses?

Pharma reps are so late 90's. That's another job that isn't quite what it used to be. Pharma jobs lost its luster years ago, and it's also heavily regulated.

Two things: domestic flying is about as glamourous as greyhound and airlines can't pick them based on hotness any more

Yet another example of judicial overreach! There should be weight/size restrictions for all jobs. IE if the stewardess is too fat to walk down the aisle w/o hitting the passengers or having to turn sideways, she shouldn't be a stewardess. Just like obese people shouldn't be cops or firemen. It's not discriminatory, just practical.

I'm not sure about all airlines but (if I remember correctly) a friend of mine applied and interviewed for American Airlines. They required a college degree as a pre-req.

This may be one factor.

Girls these days are way too educated for that shite.
