re: Why do you think dads love their daughters more than sons and vice versa with moms?

Ehh I have a boy/girl/boy. My oldest son was probably the most affectionate and easy going when he was really small. He’d hang out all day with me while my wife would leave to do some work on the weekends. We were really tight from the start.
My daughter never really took a bottle well and was always dependent and attached to my wife. It wasn’t until she got to be 3 or 4 that she really wanted to hang out with me. Our relationship took a bit longer to develop.
The third little guy DGAF and is happy for any attention he gets from anyone. In a lot of ways he’s the funniest and most fun for anyone to hang out with.
Just depends on the child and personality more than the sex I think.

Never had a sister, but one thing I observed from watching friends that did is this: My friends' dad would give his daughter money to go out on Saturday night. His son and I worked on the house they were building on Saturdays. He paid me $20 at the end of the day every Saturday, but didn't give his son anything for the work he did.

I don't know and can't answer with any credibility because I only pumped sons into my wife's guts.

See that’s crappy. You work hard you should earn some spending cash. Unless he had borrowed money for something already and that was him working to pay it back
