They are ugly.

That said, my aunt drives a van, and she isn't trashy or anything. She is about to have 6 kids though, so I guess she figured an SUV wasn't big enough.

When you have a family, a Van isn't the most attractive thing on the road. But it is the most practical. We rented a Dodge Caravan to go on vacation this summer, and it was actually nice for the convenience. Just purchased a 4 Runner for the wife, and while it looks a lot better than a van, it's basically the same thing with 3 rows of seats. It just looks a little more sporty. You do have a point.

Probably because they sponsor the Warped Tour

I like the newer 4x4 Westfalia Syncros, too.

Honestly liked the way the Pilot drove best, but when I got out of it and looked it over again, I realized it looked like a minivan and then got the F off that lot.

Yukon Denali's magnetic ride control suspension drives pretty damn well too

It has approximately 5 or 6 places to sit. You have more space in the trunk than a car (usually less than a van).

A Chevy Malibu seats 4. An Audi S7 seats 4.
Yep. Same thing.

The only crossovers I like are from Germany or Sweeden. They mostly look sporty and have a short front overhang and a longer distance between dash and front axle. That goes a long way into making them look less like a minivan.

This.

We've got a MB GLK350 which is fast as shite and looks sporty. The BMW X5s are some of the best looking vehicles on the road. The Volvo XC models also look amazing. The Porsche Cayenne is one beautiful machine which I REALLY wish I could afford.

Clearly you've never kicked back in a honda odyessy with blue tooth headphones in an air conditioned seat and watched a dvd on the built in player while your wife chauffers you around.

Given up on life? I won mf'er.

So you are saying a van can perform the same as a 4 wheel drive vehicle?

You can buy 4WD/AWD vans. Also, a Subaru Forester will laugh almost any "true" SUV off the trail.

Which is basically a new take on the hatchback sedan. In fact, I feel like a Ford Fusion has more legroom than the GLK350. I couldn't sell my wife's fast enough.

Notoriously bad reliability. I love the styling, but when we started looking to upgrade my wife's car, I was kind of stunned by how poorly it was rated almost everywhere I looked.

Vans are for those who can’t afford a milf mobile like a Yukon Denali or a QX 80

Or people buy vans like a honda odyssey because they are smart with money and can get almost the exact same luxury items.

Oh, and it wont be a piece of shite chevy/ford/dodge and last 200K+ miles

That popped up the other day as I was skimming Amazon titles. I just made fun of it a little and moved on. I think I'll stop and check it out.

Looked hard at a Crosstrek when my wife upgraded, but she liked the options on a Rogue better. Didn't try an Outback, but I hate the new Forresters.

I'm a ways out on replacing my vehicle, but after driving our kid around only about a dozen times, the sliding doors on a minivan already sounds appealing. Getting that car seat in/out in a crowded parking lot is a pain in the arse.

So your wife is smarter than you and isn't trying to keep up with the Jones...you should definitely let her make more of the financial decisions.

You know they changed the whole company? The SPA vehicles that the Chinese company Geely produces are very well received across all of their models. The 90 had some growing pains, but the 60s have had very few.
