Why do some stores keep Jack Daniel’s and Tanqueray behind the counter?

I’ve seen other brands back there behind the service counter at the Winn Dixie, like Grey Goose (yuck) and Crown Royal, while most of the stock is right there on the shelf.

Do people like to steal certain brands more than others? Is this a ghetto thing? Do poors really like Tanqueray?

Who would steal Jack Daniel’s when they could nab a fifth of Knob Creek?

People are dum.

Certain brands are stolen more often by certain types of people. There was an article linked on here a while ago saying Walmart was being sued because they lock up Black people hair products and don't do the same for white people hair products. Pretty much the same thing, except with liquor.

Yes, poors love higher-end gin. The alcohol behind the counter is typically want black people and teenagers like.

Also, how is grey goose "yuck"?

That's strange. It's good vodka. Nothing to really love or hate.

People tend to think it’s overrated I guess. The Tito’s love fest has been stupid the past decade or so.

I don't recall Jack Daniels being locked up, but I know Crown Royal is frequently behind the customer service counter because trashy people favor it.

That's good to hear because it was never very good. Not hating on it, just a fact.

Agreed. I know Vodka is supposed to be as tasteless as possible but that has no character. I still like the taste and feel of Absolut.
