There are roughly 120,000 white people who live in New Orleans. Also, quick research says that New Orleans draws between 15 million and 20 million vistiors per year, and obviously a big majority of those are white.

I don’t know why you only focused on white people being murdered using total tourists plus city population as your base And then claimed that as some sort of victory.

Can you add in all violet crime? And all races? and then all other felonies? And then all other crime and then recalculate your statistics using average crime in a specific area and the compare that to similar samples in other cities?

Not if you're white. Not even remotely similar. That was my point.

What cities are more dangerous to white people in the US?

Now do some statistics on burglaries, car-jackings, armed robbery, etc etc

How many total victims now?

Bottom line is that NOPD doesn’t even report all the other crime to keep #’s down and it’s still insane amount of crime.

People need to be aware of the risks, b’c it has some real risks when visiting N.O.

The odds of being robbed or worse in New Orleans as a tourist are not great

Tell that to the poor old man beat to death in his hotel room while his wife watched.

Being 'not poor' and educated is usually a good indicator that you will not be murdered, regardless of race.

Not to say you can't be, but those two factors are amazingly good indicators.

Per capita white people aren't really killed in Orleans.
Be it domestic or whatever just happens to be true. There is a reason, but it isn't racial, so it isn't really going to make sense.Being 'not poor' and educated is usually a good indicator that you will not be murdered, regardless of race.

When the do blacks commit 50-60% of violent crime? The majority of it black on black because the cities are highly segregated, gang issues or “disrespect”

Black people, especially black males, are more likely to be poor and uneducated. Shocking news.

scared to death of any city of any size because they suffer from irrational fears.

I was twenty yards away from a guy who opened fire on a crowd of people on Bourbon Street on Lundi Gras. Most of our opinions of New Orleans are not irrational.

thought the same thing a couple weeks ago when my dad was trying to talk me and my wife out of going

My wife wants to go. Yeah was last there in 2010. It seemed normal-ish as far as how bad crime could be. At the time, I thought you could still be fine if you weren’t involved in any mess.

I would love to take the wife. For me, I could get my fix in that tiny box around Jackson Square and the immediate blocks. I also told her I would only do daytime sightseeing.

That said, she’s been begging to go since we first met 7 years ago. I’ve taken her to LSU games. We were planning on going into town after the LSU-S. Alabama baseball game in 2020. Unfortunately, shite hit the fan with Covid that night and we headed home the next morning.
