I’ve never heard that it’s not.

So you’ve never actually raised a family in Vegas, nor have you ever lived there?

You’re just going by what you read on the internet?

It’s like arguing with a mentally challenged toddler, who is also clearly an alter.

As far as education, LV is terrible. LA might be better. I do think the outdoor life is much more dynamic than here.

Yeah, I know it's got crime, urban decay, a freeloading underclass, a corrupt government, etc. But so does Baton Rouge. So does Shreveport. So does every city in America of any size (particularly in the east and south).

New Orleans used to be a place I would really enjoy going to. Last time I went (2012) I decided I would never go back. Even if by some stroke of luck Auburn would make the playoffs the group that I travel to games with decided that we would sit that game out.
Just my opinion but I would rather spend my time in Charleston South Carolina.

Agreed. Taking down the statues was a disgrace. But then just take a look at the leadership.

An unemployment rate going in the wrong direction, 5.8%

Huge, majority underclass, with at least 35% unemployment for African American males.

Attracting little or no industry of consequence which likely speaks to quality of life, crime, education, workforce, political climate

Continue to elect knuckleheads to the mayor's office and Council.

As I noted elsewhere the city of my youth has lost a bit of her charm and that just may be life but she is a far cry from what she use to be. The demographic composition and all that involves - economic to be specific - doesn't bode well for Orleans proper.
