Most people do hate lawyers, for many good reasons. Until you need one.

Because people don't have to pay for attorney's on TV shows.
IRL the attorney charges you $200 to read a text, $150 for the time he was on the toilet lurking the OT and $1200 to write a simple letter.
Reading a billing statement from an IRL attorney is enough to trigger especially if you are one paying.

I'm the opposite. I don't really care for lawyer shows, but don't have a problem with most real life lawyers.
I did like LA Law though, and I do know a handful of scummy lawyers, so it's not absolute.

They do.
And make no mistake: TRUMP will be the LAST outsider businessman to EVER dare run for POTUS. It will be Ivy League lawyers from here on out.

I disagree that no businessmen will run for POTUS although I did agree that the majority from here out will be law graduates.
