I know some peeps in Ventura. The average high is 72 year round. Their house doesn't have AC or central heat.

The good citizens are dwindling in number and the bad citizens are increasing in number, probably about fourfold. The only area that's seeing the positive gain of new citizens is in the farming industry.

California used to be the best place to live in the entire world. The question now should be - why would people want to live in California in the future?

I won’t argue the other points, but Cali’s education system is hardly anything to shine a light on.

Beautiful state and hot babes. Outside of fricked up politics and Hollywood, CA is a nice state. I could definitely visit, but wouldn’t move there.

I've been all over California, many different times. Geographically speaking it's an amazing state, there's nothing like it.

The bigger cities have all the freaks in them, but the interior of the state is farmers and conservatives. I love California.

People are mostly leaving because of the high cost of living. Not wildfires or shithole status.

San Fran just increased their Gross Receipts and Payroll tax to fricking pay for the out of control homeless population. Stick it to corporations to enable people. I thought that’s what religious organizations used to do, not the government. Take off the rose colored glasses.

Have you ever been to California?

I mean why do we live here? How many post from Tornado or Huricanne Alley?

You really can't worry about the random disasters they can happen anytime.

The thing that strikes me the most about Colorado is the cost.

Anyone ever seen the movie 'Friday'?

How many of you live in a house that costs less than $650,000?

Craig's house sold for $650,000. In the hood, in a bad part of the ghetto for $650,000.

Any house in San Francisco is a million dollars.

It's insane.

Wait until they implement healthcare for all including illegals. Their taxes are only going to go higher.

Much of California is very nice but there are other states I'd rather live in.

It is probably in the top 10 of the greatest places on earth to live, unfortunately this has resulted in a very high cost of living in the most popular areas of the state.

my apartment doesn't have ac. there were some days this year where I wish I had ac because it got up into the 90s even at the beach. there's some electric heating coils in the ceilings but i bought space heaters instead. i think my apartment was built in the 60s

I will never get why people that live in Louisiana of all places(like one of the worst states in the nation)....constantly talk shite about California.

California is the true "Sportsman Paradise", over a million acres of public lands available for hunting, countless lakes and streams, thousands of acres of public land for stuff like ATV/dirtbike riding, Jeep trails, hiking/backpacking, RVing, surfing, kayaking, rock climbing, scuba diving, snow sking, bicycle trails everywhere. Louisiana doesn't even rank in outdoor activity compared to California or anywhere on the west coast.
