Half mile at 75 mph
Yea im staying put until im done passing
You can wait if im already speeding.
That is ~24 seconds to go .5 mile at 75. If you cant wait for that you are ghey. Hence why im not decelerating to 65 and stuck behind whoever that is.

I am fine moving over. No problem. I have no pride as a driver. I am trying to avoid accidents. You expect someone to sit behind you for 3-6 minutes (5-10 mph differential for a 1/2 mile) because you don't want to get over because you're going to pass that guy a 1/2 mile up the road? How about 1 mile? Or maybe 2? How long does it take before you actually consider following the rules and getting out of the passing lane.

You do realize that the other car you're passing is also moving? It's not the total mph but the difference between yours and theirs. Lol

Nope, I think you're the one who isn't understanding that you also have to account for the speed of the person you're passing.
It takes 24 seconds to go half a mile at 75 MPH. It takes someone going 65 MPH 27 seconds. You're not much closer to them after actually both traveling half a mile.

It's impressive how you're both fricking up the math here, AND not understanding that you're the one that needs to leave earlier.
Get over in the right lane like the rest of us. We aren't saying to get out of our way. We are saying that you're being a dickhead because you don't have the patience to get over in the right lane when you won't pass the person in front of you for a few minutes of travel.
You're the one who needs to leave earlier.If you're not in a rush, find it in you to calm down enough to switch lanes and enjoy the ride.
