Sounds like that guy shouldn't have been doing that.

You are correct...crossing a 8 lane road on a rainy night trying to catch the city bus. I have never seen anyone go flying and flipping in the air like he did after getting hit by a car. Watching him gasp for air, bleeding from his head and him laying on the road was nothing I want to see again.

I have been in a serious auto accident where they had to cut me out and air vac me by helicopter to UK. I had a torn aerota and multiple fractures...I do not wish the pain mentally and physically on anyone...it suck...and I sure in hell do not want to see a kid go through that pain that I went through 12 years ago.

You need a question mark instead of a period in the first sentence. Capitalize the word "i" in the second sentence. Capitalize the "p" in please in the third sentence. Also, insert a comma after please.

You're welcome.

So back up traffic behind the bus? Or worse wait for the traffic behind the bus to pass it? What about the traffic coming the other way? How long do you plan on waiting per kid?

That might work in boondocks Louisiana (especially the thinning out the herd part- thanks for that), but in the rest of the populated country buses usually drop off kids during rush hour with lots of traffic.

The last time I almost got into a fist fight (as a 40 somethingy/o man) was b/c of that.

I followed the guy and pulled him over and explained his poor habits.

He stopped the next day and apologized to my daughter.

People that do that crap suck and they need to be told they suck.

Because people don't give a damn about anyone but themselves, an increasing affliction in today's dysfunctional society.

Idk but I have a good question. Can a bus stop on a 2 way 1 lane road and make a kid cross the street to board the bus? Anyone in the BR area, I'm talking about South Flannery almost to Florida Blvd. I see it every morning. I thought I've heard that the bus has to be on the same side of the road as the kid they are picking up and I think the bus driver is being lazy so they don't have to turn around.

Nope, this happens in front of Maxwell Elementary. It is majority of UK students flying by the school not paying attention. This happens every day.

That's worth a very expensive ticket in Louisiana, and they will write you up with the quickness.
