My dad was in Squadron "Gator" 2 back in the day. I was all set to join his outfit, but ended up getting shuffled to 3 at the last minute.
Obviously, I'm happy with that development, in hindsight

All the black kids I know have had moustaches since 6th grade. I don't know why that might be.

Razor bumps.
People with curly, more coarse hair (regardless of race) tend to have more ingrown hairs that can get irritating and bumpy and pimply. Less shaving Cuts down on that
