you shoulda stopped at popeyes or kfc...even church's
If you get out of the Popeyes drive thru without having to pull up your next stop should be to buy lottery tickets.

you give them too much credit.
Actually, managers are given bonuses if they achieve a certain time per car. It is in their best interest for you to pull forward so they can serve the people behind you on time.

This has been driving me nuts. I get why they do it in certain situations but they’ve just started doing it automatically everytime now.
The only time I should have to pull forward is when something in my order is going to take a little longer than usual and there’s a person behind me who’s food is already ready.
Recently though, I went to McDonalds at like 10pm. So no one else was in sight. Get to the second window and they ask me to pull up. I’m looking around like WTF? No ones here. But I do it anyway. They bring my food out like 10seconds later. What was the point?
It’s so much more efficient if they just have me wait 10 seconds at the window and hand me my food through the window

I've never been asked to pull forward. Order simple shite.
I order a Quarter Pounder meal with a coke. With no special anything,
It’s pretty much the most basic you can get at McDonalds and get asked to pull up everytime. A Burger. Fries. And a coke.

Order fries with no salt. They gotta drop a new batch for you and they'll be fresh.
