And WTF are other people doing at ATMs that takes so long?

My wife says they are trying a series of transactions of decreasing size until one works, but IDK about that. Can't they just view their balance?

I dont buy scratch offs but was told if you on the lottery site you can see how many tickets are actually still out there and how many jackpots have been claimed. Seems like a way to get a good estimate on your odds
