There is a variance because of the different sets of prizes. Each game only has so much the public can win.
you can go onto the lottery website and see which games have the most/best prizes still available to won.

Luckily we have machines in GA, which makes it easier to get my tickets. But if it's down, I go to the counter with no shame. I wait my turn and take whatever time I need..
