Why do dogs take such massive shits?

So my dog, a medium sized golden retriever, takes shits about 7 inches long and two inches wide. Usually four pieces at a time.
My average shite is probably about 5 inches long and 1 inch wide, usually 2 pieces.
Humans average stomach size is 1 Liter in volume.
Golden Retrievers are about 2/3 of a liter in volume.
He gets fed twice a day and every time he goes out it’s a pile of massive shits, at least 5x a day.
Can anyone explain how this is possible?

My dog is about 15 pounds.. He takes about two and half Tiparillos twice a day. When I cut grass in the heat of the summer and I step in it...I gag like a MF.
