re: Why do a lot of married men have to bring their wives with them to the doctor's office?

I dont go with my husband unless he needs a driver, like wisdom teeth removal or colonoscopy. I enjoy the spectacle of my very reserved husband flying on drugs.

All routine appointments he handles alone, even though I have some medical knowledge because of my job. He calls me right after and fills me in.

I do accompany my 26 year old son, as he has learning/attention issues and a second set of ears is helpful. However, I dont say anything and let him handle the discussion. I went to the dermatologist with him today and he is starting to grumble about it,so I may be on borrowed time.
