Just got an email saying power outage restoration delayed. I’m in Lakeview. Don’t think I’ve ever had power returned by the initial estimated time given

That’s surprising.

Utility companies are claiming they received 3 minutes of notice and no notice to regulators Generator went offline and there wasn’t enough power to support demand so likely not a “planned load shed”

Where did you hear the 3 minutes notice aspect? I heard someone else say that too - just curious if there was a news release.

Got the same email for fairgrounds.

Our power has always been restored faster than the estimates at this house but I know this is different. I don’t think Entergy knows when they will be able to restore power. Sounds like this is out of their hands.

You're probably soon. Lacombe came up before Mandeville. Seems to be running westward.

For someone who is so proud to have left Louisiana you sure like posting non stop about it

Spending a quick few minutes to educate about the failures of a state, isn’t ‘nonstop’…grow up.

Yep power is back for us in Mandeville. If we're getting rolling blackouts in May, I hate to see what this summer is going to bring

Power has been back on for about an hour now on the Westbank in Marrero. Initial estimate showed that it would be out until 7:00pm
