For the same reasons that the Baton Rouge flood got nearly zero coverage .... that s all Ill say.

Yeah -

A) the amount of storm build up wasn't there. It wasn't a category 3 or 4 until 24 hours from landfall. Baton Rouge system didn't even have a name

B) the amount of people affected or potentially affected pales in comparison to the amount of people living from Wilmington northward along the east coast. If people can't understand why a storm threatening that shear amount of people gets more coverage, I don't know what to tell you.

The tropical storm is off southern new England and still a threat to usa lives. Does that offend you?

The big bend area was described as marsh with few residents.
Is that true?
