Why can’t young and middle aged adults sit for Mass without needing water or the bathroom?

Two women in front of me pulled out water bottles multiple times during Mass, which by the way lasted 60 minutes. There was a constant steam of adults leaving the pews to go to the bathrooms in the rear of the church. I get having to take little kids, but that wasn’t the case. I felt like I was at some mega church where the congregation gets up from the Sunday service to get their coffee.

I see you’re well on your way to that whole not judging others thing. Congratulations, a-hole.

Couldn't tell you the habits of my fellow worshipers tonight.

I was too busy praising the Lord.

They’re probably trying their best and don’t realize the distraction they’re causing you.

God is only asking for an hour of your time on Sunday or holy days of obligation. The least you can do is act like an adult and do your best to spend that hour in reverence.

Cause they ain't been to church since last year and totally forgot how it works.

We had a basic arse white chick stroll in with her Starbucks and drink it and play on her phone during mass. Why even go?

You’ll get blasted but I have noticed it too.

It is a selfish thing, thru feel their needs to hydrate in a 70 degree room is so great that they don’t mind it being a distraction to others

Allowing distractions is a thing too.

Not that easy when distracted by the crinkling from water bottles and the clip clopping of heels down the aisle.

The lady in the pew in front of me and what I assumed to be her two grown daughters, (trust me, you don’t want pics) all had big Starbucks cups and slurped all through the service while constantly checking their phones. It’s ridiculous people can’t go an hour without giving in to an impulse.
With that being said, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!

We have this shite going on every week behind us. I never knew it until my wife and daughter were sick one day so I slipped in on the back pew. Have had it happen 3 or 4 times when I go alone.

35-40 year old women just yacking away during the song instead of singing, and browsing on the phone during the sermon like they’re in jr high. Then get up and leave after the offering instead of waiting 6 more minutes for the benediction and postlude. I mean, what’s the point of showing up if you’re not going to participate?
