They don't really kill any germs unless you let whatever product soak for a while. Anti-bacterial hand soap, for instance, is useless in terms of killing germs. You'd be better off using a bar. All antibacterial hand soap does is create more drug-resistant bacteria

Burn your hands with fire thoroughly after washing. That’ll kill off the last of any remaining pathogens.

I mean the air we breath contains bacteria. As soon as you wipe, it's right back on the surface. I'm sure lawyers advised that just to be safe. Regardless, bacteria is good. So long as I can kill the raw meat varieties, I'm good. Those guys aren't just floating around.
